Why should divorced parents mediate?

Parents must remember that even when a divorce is final, Mom and Dad still associate with each other as long as their children are still children.  Moreover, the average life expectancy of a divorce parenting plan is often about two to three years -- at that point, at least some aspect of it needs to be revisited.  Divorced parents regularly use the mediation services of Mediator Matthew House to modify their existing agreements to accommodate changes in the family or the needs of their growing children.  They can then consult with a lawyer, if they so choose, to advise them of their individual legal rights.
